Alex has over twelve years of experience leading community and organizational change worldwide. She has experience in designing, presenting, and securing buy-in for data-driven strategy, as well as facilitating learning that helps leaders achieve their goals throughout the employee life cycle.
With her Project Management, Denver Water and the EPA were able to build relationships with historically marginalized communities across Denver and successfully clean the drinking water at 100,000 homes. Alex also has experience working with diverse constituencies and partnering with local governments in rural Colorado. She created a powerful alliance of hunters, farmers, ranchers, recreationists, and business owners across Garfield County to protect a critical part of the local economy. She also worked with Veterans in La Plata County to create new legislation that allowed Veterans living in remote counties across Colorado to gain better access to healthcare.
Alex earned a Master of Science in Organization Development from American University. Alex was awarded the Segal-Seashore Fellowship for her commitment to social justice and organization development. Alex currently serves on the board for Rocky Mountain Equality, Colorado's largest LGBTQ+ organization, and recently presented at the 2024 Transforming Gender Conference.
